“Bridging the Gap Between Indian Health Care Policy
and Health Disparities”

A forum and event that will expand knowledge and understanding of key healthcare and health policy issues affecting the health of American Indians and Alaska Natives. Information shared can be used by Tribes, Indian Health Service, Policy Researchers, Academicians and other key stakeholders to improve systems of care for the underserved American Indian/Alaska Native population.

Over 200 tribal leaders, government officials, policymakers, students, private healthcare service providers, and American Indian business owners are expected to attend.

The University of Arizona is offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the 2008 American Indian Health Policy Symposium. Attendance at all events on March 17-18 will earn 1.5 CEUs. Attendance at all events on March 17-19 will earn 1.8 CEUs. There is a $25 participant fee to cover processing of the CEUs.
